Happy Holidays to all!
I hope that everyone is able to enjoy the holidays
and spend some quality time with their loved ones this year. It is amazing how quickly the time flies and now that Mia is a part of our family, it seems to go by even faster!
It has been a great year for the Beverly Animal Natural Health Center. It seems like just yesterday that we were all planning for Y2K! Soon it will be 2003, the fifth year of BANHC and Dr Ricketts will be with us for two years! We hope to expand the website to include more links and informative articles on everything from medical to behavioral and in between.

News!
Dr. Ricketts will be attending the North American Veterinary Conference in Florida in January. The annual conference highlights the most recent advancements in both medical and surgical treatment of small animals. This year’s focus is on the latest medical treatments of cancer as well as respiratory ailments and geriatric patients.
One of clients and recommended trainers, Gerilyn Beilakiewicz of Canine University in Malden just had her first book published by Adams Media entitled The Everything® Dog Training and Tricks Book. It is available on-line at or at major book stores!
The new Beverly Animal Resource Coalition (BARC) is continuing their work toward making Beverly a more dog-friendly city. Talks are ongoing between BARC, the Parks Department and the city, but we are hopeful that a compromise will soon be reached to allow dogs access to Lynch Park and all of Beverly's parks, as well as working on off-leash exercise areas for dogs.
The BARC website now features a Lost and Found section, for posting information on missing and found pets in Beverly, so please check them out. You can also sign up to be a member of BARC and be added to their email list for updates on their work.
